1. Background
WWF’s interventions in and around Xe Sap National Park (NP) are supported by several donors with the aim of contributing to the protection, restoration, and sustainable use of ecosystems and the conservation of biological diversity of the area and also in coordination with protected areas in Vietnam. We aim to use innovative and transformational conservation interventions that support the governments of Vietnam and Laos to meet their obligations under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Other components of the XS NP - the priority site programme include forest restoration, supporting local agencies to apply legislation on wildlife trade, community forest management planning, engagement with the private sector, and transboundary cooperation with relevant agencies in Vietnam, etc. with funding support from the WWF Network.
2. Aim of this consultancy - financial audit
The Financial Information of the project/program shall be audited in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA 805) “Special Considerations Audits of Single Financial Statements and Specific Elements, Accounts or Items of a Financial Statement”.
